VARNEL is an authorized training center for the Health & Safety Institute. With over 10 years of experience, our instructors have the expertise to deliver knowledgeable and fun CPR, AED, & First Aid training programs through the MEDIC First Aid curriculum. Our instructors are committed and empowered to deliver high-quality content to not only train you with the skills and knowledge to perform CPR and First Aid, but to also gain confidence in saving lives!  

Responding in a medical emergency is a skill set that anyone can perform regardless of their educational and occupational background. Knowing that you have the power skills to save a life is a rewarding asset that you can bring to your professional, personal life, and/or to your community. Classes 

PediatricPlus Course

​

The PediatricPlus CPR, AED, and First Aid course for Children, Infant, and Adult meets the standards for Pediatric CPR, AED, and First Aid training. This course teaches students to learn how to respond to medical emergencies, including to respond and manage illness, and injuries until professional help arrives.

The PedriatricPlus course provides an ideal solution for schools, childcare/Daycare providers, youth sport coaches, child development students, parents, and others required or wished to learn how to respond to medical emergencies involving children.

Course Highlights 

​

  • Designed for individuals who desire or are required to be certified in Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED. 

  • Real-Life scenario videos, full-color printed material, and clear and concise content.

  • 2-year certification.

  • 8-hour class- includes plenty of time for sills practice. 

  • Training course available in-person and online blended.

    • For blended learning, this training course will be divided into two sessions:

  1. Lecture will be via ZOOM

  2. Skills-practice will be in-person.

  • This course meets California Emergency Medical Service Authority standards for Childcare and Preschool Teachers.

  • Training course available in English and Spanish

    • Students books and handouts are included.

BasicPlus Course

​

The BasicPlus CPR, AED, and First Aid for Adults course is designed for the occupational first aid providers. This comprehensive program will help employers meet OSHA and other federal and state regulatory requirements for training employers how to respond and care for medical emergencies at work. This course teaches students to provide CPR, use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and First Aid in a safe, timely, and effective manner.

The BasiscPlus course provides an ideal training solutions for construction and general industry employees, security guards, schools staff/personnel, retail business, hospitality, anyone who needs certification for employment or credentials, and anyone who wishes to be certified in basic lifesaving skills.

Course Highlights 

​

  • This course meets OSHA/Cal OSHA requirements.

  • This course meets California Teacher Credential requirements.

  • Designed for occupational first aid providers who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers.

  • Real-life scenarios videos, full-color printed material, and clear and concise content.

  • 4-hour class- includes plenty of time for skill practice. 

  • Training course available in-person, online, and online blended.

  • Training course available in English and Spanish

  • Student books and handouts are included.

Training Courses Available In-Person, Online, & Online Blended

For online, this training course is offered via Remote Skills Verification (RSV). RSV with blended learning is the perfect combination of cognitive learning with flexible and remote skills-verification guided by a live authorized instructor.

For blended learning, this training course will be divided into two sessions:

  1. Lecture will be via ZOOM

  2. Skills-practice will be in-person

Participants who successfully complete the training class will be issue a MEDIC First Aid course completing card, which is valid for two (2) years.

​

Our training programs not only allows us to teach high-quality life saving skills, but also allows us to create more CPR and First Aid responders to preserve lives!
