Preventative Health & Safety
Illnesses are common in young children, and those in the child care and school settings are at a higher risk of getting sick. This risk can be reduced through creating a healthy environment and practices. To learn how to keep children a healthy and safe environment, our Preventative Health and Safety course is designed to teach how to keep children in their care healthy and safe from injuries and illnesses.

Our classes are Emergency Medical Services Authority approved and meet the 8-hour of the Preventative Health and Safety requirements, including Lead Prevention and Nutrition class.

Disaster Preparedness
This training outlines the roles and responsibility of key state agencies to support the child care infrastructure in an emergency or disaster. The overall goal is to cover the California State Emergency Plan, an annex to the California State Emergency plan that addresses on how to reduce the risk of injury, loss, and destruction for children and staff in childcare programs. The curriculum provides resources to assist childcare settings meet licensing regulations.
